The IAUF was formed out of  concern for franchisee  owners of UBuildIt.  The  Association was founded  January 2005 for the following purposes:
To protect and promote the rights of members in the UBuildIt franchise businesses.

To safeguard and enhance members’ business interests and equity.

To promote free and open communication among members.
To improve communication between members and the Franchisor.
To promote fairness in franchise relationships.
To represent the interests of the members in discussions with the Franchisor’s management.

While issues are of great importance to the franchisee community, and they must be addressed with the Franchisor, it is important to note that it is not the intention of the Association to become the Franchisor’s adversary.  Rather, the Association will serve as an independent voice for members concerns and a method of communicating and resolving those concerns.  By joining together, we can address and effectively communicate concerns on a unified basis.
